Construction Site Pricing
Construction site security camera cost — published, not hidden.
Most remote video monitoring companies still hide pricing behind a sales call. We publish ours. A handful of regional competitors publish per-camera rates; we go further and publish the bundled construction price — equipment, live operators, dispatch, all in, with nothing pulled out for the "custom quote" line.
Bundled · Most Common
Rapid-deploy construction bundles
Most construction sites don't have cameras when we arrive. The bundle includes everything: a solar-powered rapid-deploy tripod with cameras, cellular backhaul, AI analytics, and live U.S. operator monitoring from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. — the window where 95%+ of construction theft happens.

Already have cameras?
Monitoring-only pricing

We integrate with most camera platforms: Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Hanwha, Reolink, Uniview, Verkada, Eagle Eye Networks, Rhombus, Avigilon. We audit your existing system at no cost before quoting.

The math
$1,990/month vs. ~$11,500/month for a single overnight guard.
A single unarmed overnight (12-hour) guard post in California or Arizona runs $11,500– $14,500/month all-in once you factor in the bill rate, overtime, holidays, post-down credits, and the loss events the guard didn't prevent. Our 8-camera construction bundle is ~83–86% less expensive, watches the entire perimeter continuously instead of one location, and never calls out sick.
| Coverage model | Typical monthly cost | What you actually get |
|---|---|---|
| Single overnight guard | $11,500 – $14,500 | One location at a time. Post-down risk. Misses 90% of the site. |
| Roving patrol (every 2 hrs) | $2,400 – $4,500 | 20-minute windows of presence. 90%+ of the night uncovered. |
| DIY camera platform alone | $200 – $1,200 | Recordings after the fact. No live intervention. No dispatch. |
| VuePointSecure 8-cam bundle ✓ | $1,990 | Whole perimeter watched 6 p.m.–6 a.m., live operator intervention, verified police dispatch, full evidence. |

Other property types
Commercial, HOA, multifamily, vacant property: custom quote.
We publish construction-site pricing because the use case is consistent. Other property types vary too much by site to publish flat rates honestly:
- Commercial property: camera count + business-hours overlap + parking zones drive cost.
- HOA / Multifamily: amenity coverage + gate overlay + community quiet hours drive cost.
- Vacant property: entry-point coverage + duration drive cost.
- Equipment yards / industrial: perimeter length + access-point count drive cost.
Typical ranges: $400 – $3,000/month depending on site size and coverage hours.

FAQ
Pricing questions, answered
What's included in the monitoring service?
Live U.S.-based operator monitoring from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., seven nights a week. AI analytics on every camera, operator talk-down through on-site speakers when an intruder is detected, verified police dispatch with timestamped video, written incident reports, and ongoing analytics tuning. Software, monitoring labor, dispatch coordination, and incident documentation are all bundled into the monthly price.
What's the difference between the $995 and $1,990 prices?
$995/month is for the rapid-deploy equipment lease alone — a solar-powered tripod with up to 8 cameras, cellular backhaul, and on-board AI. $1,990/month is the bundle: that same equipment plus our live U.S. operator monitoring 6 p.m.–6 a.m. on 8 cameras. Most construction sites need both, so the bundle is what we quote by default.
Can I monitor more than 8 cameras?
Yes. Beyond 8 cameras, monitoring is $95 per additional camera per month. A 12-camera site monitored 6 p.m.–6 a.m. runs $995 (first 8) + $95 × 4 = $1,375/month for monitoring, plus equipment lease if needed.
I already own cameras. Do I have to lease equipment?
No. If your existing ONVIF/RTSP cameras (Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Hanwha, Reolink, Uniview, Verkada, Eagle Eye Networks, Rhombus, etc.) cover the site adequately, we monitor those at the standalone monitoring rate: $595/month for 4 cameras or $995/month for 8 cameras, 6 p.m.–6 a.m. We audit your existing system at no cost before quoting.
Can I get 24/7 monitoring instead of just overnight?
Yes — we extend coverage to daytime hours, full 24/7, or any custom window. Pricing varies because daytime activity volume is much higher (workers on site, deliveries, equipment movement). Get a custom quote — most construction sites find that 6 p.m.–6 a.m. covers ~95% of their actual risk window at a much lower price.
What about commercial property, HOA, multifamily, or vacant property — do you publish prices for those too?
We publish construction-site pricing because the use case is consistent: similar camera counts, similar exposure windows, similar threat profiles. Commercial, HOA, multifamily, and vacant-property pricing varies more by site (camera count, hours, on-site staff overlap, escalation rules, multi-site discounts). Contact us for a quote — typical ranges fall between $400 and $3,000/month.
Is there a contract length?
Construction monitoring runs month-to-month with a 30-day notice to cancel. For long-duration projects (12+ months), we offer locked-rate pricing in exchange for the term commitment — usually 5–10% off.
What if my project ends early?
30-day notice to cancel. We pull the equipment within 5 business days of notice. No early-termination fees on month-to-month deals.
How does this compare to a guard?
A single overnight (12-hour) unarmed guard post in CA/AZ runs $11,500–$14,500/month all-in (see our blog post on real guard cost). Our 8-camera bundle at $1,990/month is roughly 83–86% less, watches the entire perimeter continuously instead of one location, and never has post-down or no-show events.
How fast can you deploy?
Rapid-deploy tripods are live within 24 hours of contract signature. We bring the tripod, position it, configure cellular, tune analytics, and monitoring begins that night.
Ready for transparent construction site security?
Most sites are protected within 24 hours. Tell us where the cameras need to go and we'll send a quote within the business day.
